Hey, music lovers! If you're looking for something fun to do next weekend, you might consider checking out the Bragg Jam Festival just up I-16 in Macon.

The festival will take place on Saturday, July 27, in downtown Macon and will feature several events throughout the day.

During the morning and afternoon hours, a free event will take place in the heart of downtown Macon where families can come together to enjoy art, food, vendors and live music accompanied by community performances.

As the sun sets, the city prepares for the beginning of the Concert Crawl. Fifty-six bands will perform in 15 popular venues around the city. The musical genres include country, rock, blues and all of those in between, so there's bound to be something for everyone.

Tickets will be available the day of the event at Mellow Mushroom, Twang, The Hanger, and Third Street Park in Macon for $25 cash or credit. However, Early Bird tickets can be purchased online at www.braggjam.com for only $20 per ticket.

All proceeds will benefit local charities in memory of Brax and Tate Bragg who were the inspiration for the original Bragg Jam concert.
