Savannah community radio station WRUU to air live coverage of Washington, D.C. March for Science

WRUU Savannah Soundings 107.5 FM, Savannah’s community radio station, will offer live coverage of the March for Science in Washington, D.C., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 22.

"Democracy Now!" is regularly carried by the station at 10 a.m. Monday-Friday. Scientists and citizens from across the country will be gathering at the March for Science to defend the vital role science plays in the nation’s health, safety, economy and government. The program will also stream live on the station’s website at wruu.org.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 29, the station will carry another "Democracy Now!" special broadcast. This coverage will focus on the People’s Climate March in Washington, D.C. The national march will be coordinated with local events around the country.
