The 16th annual Savannah Film Festival will feature a diverse group of industry professionals to participate in panels and question-and-answer sessions on a variety of topics about the film, television and digital media business.â¨â¨

Industry professionals participating in the panels include:

Panels and workshops will also include:

"Horror Filmmaking: 'The Sacrament'" with  writer and director Ti West, producers Jacob Jaffke and Peter Phok and actors AJ Bowen and Gene Jones

"The Art of 3-D" with Academy Award-winning visual effects supervisor Michael Fink ("Life of Pi," "The Tree of Life," "Avatar") and other industry professionals

"Big Vision, Empty Wallet: Strategies to Raise and Stretch Your Budget" about crowd source funding, attracting investors, securing sponsors and getting everything else for free or at a discount

"Agent/Actor/Casting Director" offering an inside look at techniques that are necessary when casting, acting or directing for screen versus television, and how the industry landscape has changed 

"Nickelodeon: The Animated Shorts Program" with Jill Sanford, vice president of animation development, Nickelodeon, and Elly Kramer, director of production and development, Nick Jr.

"The Creative Cloud Experience: The Fusion of New Media and Storytelling" with filmmaker Bayan Joonam.

Panels will be $5 for the general public; $3 for students, seniors and military; and free for SCAD students, professors and staff with a valid SCAD ID.
