A.U.R.A. Fest returning to Savannah in 2017

06 Dec 2016

A.U.R.A. Fest (All Underground Rock All day) will return to Savannah’s Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum at 1 p.m. Feb. 18. This all-day concert features 15 artists on two stages, food trucks and fun activities.

A.U.R.A. Fest began in 2000 with the inaugural event at Tybee Island’s American Legion. Since then, there have been eight festivals in three cities, with performances from the best local, regional and national rock and metal bands.

In 2017, A.U.R.A. Fest returns to Savannah with a lineup that runs the gamut of rock and metal. From the atmospheric post rock of Native Suns to the catchy pop-punk choruses of Reckless Serenade to the blistering guitar shredding of Unearth, there’s something for every rock fan this year.

To top it off, attendees will enjoy the best in local food truck cuisine and a variety of beverages from Southbound Brewing Co., Pabst Blue Ribbon and Woodchuck Cider. Graveface Records will supply some fun sideshow activities as well.

The confirmed lineup includes: Unearth; ZAO; Oh, Sleeper; He Is Legend; Dark Sermon; I Set My Friends On Fire; Microwave; Tides of Man; SycAmour; The Bunny The Bear; Artifex Pereo; Reckless Serenade; Native Suns; Me and The Trinity; and Vatican.

The concert is open to all ages. Tickets are $23 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets are on sale now at
