Folks of all ages can learn to be good stewards of our planet during the free Savannah Earth Day Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 15 in Forsyth Park. Local community groups from the Savannah Riverkeeper to Loop It Up Savannah to Oatland Island Wildlife Center will be offering workshops and activities all day. Get the full schedule and story here

The next weekend, at 10 a.m. April 22, mark your calendars for the Savannah satellite version of the national March for Science. Walk from Johnson Square to Forsyth Park, then enjoy free pop-up displays with information from local organizations. More info here

Famed comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham brings his "Perfectly Unbalanced" tour to the Savannah Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. April 19. With 46 years of experience, Dunham brings a world-renowned show to town. Learn more here

If you're looking for even more laughs and love sketch comedy, don't miss the free taping of "SCADurday Night Live" at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. April 15 at Hamilton Hall. This production brings together about 140 students from all departments, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into this type of show. Read more here
