Vox Populi: ‘Republicans don’t care for poor people.’

28 Jun 2017

“If the Republicans aren’t getting the job done in Washington, could it be because they are getting no help from the Democrats at all?”

“Linda Ramsey’s article on flip-flops was excellent, but she left out the main place that flip-flops are not appropriate, and that is church. Somebody needs to tell these young people, don’t wear flip-flops and sandals in cemeteries, and I have a very good reason as to why. No, I can’t discuss it here, but somebody needs to do an article on that.”

“Republicans don’t care for poor people. They’re only interested in making the rich even richer. They’re against Medicaid and other programs designed to help the poor.”

“I’d like to know if anyone has received a Georgia income tax refund. Mine has been gone since March 22.”

“The Republicans are throwback. Mitch McConnell and Johnny Isakson both look like Howdy Doody and Donald Trump looks like Clarabelle the Clown.”

“Why don’t our congressmen quit bickering and just vote for socialized medicine like Canada, England and most of the major countries in the world have, and it works for them? They have been using that plan for over 70 years that I know of.”
