From historic tours and classic holiday films to hardcore bands and burlesque shows, there is truly something for one and all this weekend in Savannah, and the DO crew is here to be your guide.

For the mature crowd, there's almost too much to choose from: Everything is Terrible!, a found-footage event at Graveface Records, the annual Savannah SantaCon bar crawl and three - count 'em, three - options for burlesque shows this weekend.

History buffs will be wowed by the annual Savannah Holiday Tour of Homes and Victorian Tea, which this year features the addition of the Lavish Table, showing how to celebrate the holidays, 1800s-style.

Those focused on the homegrown movement and saving the environment can make it a weekend with Saturday's Bring Your Own Bag Festival and Sunday's Tour de Coop. The first aims to push reusable bags for not only groceries, but also restaurant take-out orders, and the second offers tours of backyard chicken coops and urban gardens.

Families should take advantage of free admission to the Lucas Theatre for two holiday movies, "The Muppet Christmas Carol" and "A Christmas Story." All you need to bring is a donation for either America's Second Harvest or the Humane Society (or both, if you're feeling extra generous this season!)

Finally, music fans have an overload of concerts and shows to try to squeeze in over the next three days. If you're into Americana, check out the Homegrown Holiday Hoedown at Bull Street's American Legion. The sixth annual Yuletide Jam on Isle of Hope also offers a great lineup of local favorites, plus plenty of activities for the kids. If you like your music with some edge, definitely head to Sweet Melissa's for a show featuring nine hardcore bands, including one local band playing its first show, ever.

So whether you're here full-time or just passing through, strap on your Santa hat and make the most of your Savannah weekend!
