For those of us who follow along very closely in and around the Savannah restaurant scene, there were few stories last year that turned more heads than the announcement that Chef Lauren Teague had decided to move on from her spot at 22 Square.
It isn’t very often that I feature someone on my television show and then turn around and write a separate break-out feature on them. It has happened, but not very often in the five years we have been producing “Eat It and Like It.”
As time rolls on, I get more and more tips on what is going on with the area’s food scene. There is so much happening, so much information to pass along, that I find it impossible sometimes to share it here.
