Add another accolade to this Savannah restaurant's mantle.

A few weeks after being named as one of the best restaurants in the South by Southern Living, Savannah's own The Grey has been named one of the 38 essential eateries in the South by Eater.

Other Georgia restaurants on the list included: Five & Ten in Athens, Heirloom Market BBQ in Atlanta, Kimball House in Decatur, Masterpiece in Duluth, Miller Union in Atlanta and Staplehouse in Atlanta.

According to the site, some of the best things to eat at The Grey include "Serrano chiles set blaze to smoked collard greens, chermoula brightens grilled broccoli and za'atar adds lemony zest to bison meatballs."

They also mention that Chef Mashama Bailey describes her venue as "port city Southern food (that) summons Savannah's centuries-old spice trade."
