The Stage On Bay will host a performance by Scotty McCreery, multi-platinum recording artist and Season 10 winner of "American Idol," on May 3.

Known for his breakthrough debut album, "Clear As Day," and Platinum-certified singles “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble With Girls,” as well as his follow-up singles “See You Tonight” and “Feelin’ It,” McCreery has again returned to the top of the country charts.

McCreery’s latest album, "Seasons Change," is the No. 1 album in the country after its debut single, “Five More Minutes,” became the country star’s first No. 1 hit. McCreery co-wrote “Five More Minutes,” and released it himself, independently. He has since been signed by a new label and embodies an reinvigorated attitude.

“I’ve lived a lot of life since my last record,” says McCreery. “I moved out on my own, I traveled across the country and the world. I got engaged. I was dropped by my label. I was even robbed at gunpoint. So I really wanted this album to show who Scotty is at 24, what’s going on in my life, and I think we accomplished that.”

Tickets ($29-$39) for the May 3 show at The Stage On Bay, 1200 W. Bay St., go on sale at 10 a.m. March 31 at www.stageonbay.com.
