Savannah loves its art — and the nation is taking notice.

Expedia compiled a list of the "most artistic towns" in the United States with Savannah making the cut. Other cities include: Spring Green, Wisc.; Saugatuck-Douglas, Mich.; Ojai, Calif.; Beacon, N.Y.; Oxford, Miss.; Quincy, Ill.; Minot, N.D.; Sante Fe, N.M.; Edmond, Okla.; Boulder, Colo.; Cambridge, Mass.; Ann Arbor, Mich.; Berkeley, Calif.; Lafayette, La.; Cincinnati, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; Madison, Wisc.; Tacoma, Wash.; St. Louis, Mo.; Honolulu, Hawaii; Mesa, Ariz.; Baltimore, Md.; Washington D.C.; Charlotte, N.C.; and Indianapolis, Ind.

According to the site, "Savannah’s artistic sensibilities span every genre, which can be experienced across the city at places like Jepson Center for the Arts." Other art spots around Savannah, according to the site, include Savannah City Market and the Art Center. They also highlighted the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Savannah Music Festival and deFINE Art Festival as some of the cities' best celebrations of art. The Savannah College of Art and Design's presence in the city also adds to the artistic town claim.
