Those of us who follow the Savannah music scene closely have been wondering what would happen with the departure of key young musicians. Would the scene continue to thrive in 2017 as it has in recent years?
Amythyst Kiah is based in Johnson City, Tenn., which isn’t all that far away, and the singer-songwriter has played a number of Savannah shows, but I get the sense that she’s still not on the radar of many local music lovers.
