Savannah Book Festival announces Diana Gabaldon, Lisa Ko, Jodi Picoult as headlining authors for 2018

The Savannah Book Festival has announced three headlining authors for the 2018 festival, running Feb. 15-18 at locations throughout downtown Savannah.

The 2018 headlining authors include the opening address with Diana Gabaldon, the award-winning New York Times No. 1 bestselling novelist of the “Outlander” series, which was recently made into a smash television series on the Starz network.

Lisa Ko, whose powerful debut novel, “The Leavers,” is a finalist for the 2017 National Book Award, will give the festival’s keynote address.

Closing the festival is Jodi Picoult, the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of 24 novels, including “Nineteen Minutes,” “My Sister’s Keeper” and “Plain Truth.”

In addition to the headliners, there will be about 40 free and open-to-the-public author presentations during Main Festival Day on Feb. 17.

Tickets for these events are $20 and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Jan. 10 at savannahbookfestival.org.
