You may have noticed some changes behind the scenes here at Do.

While I've been out on maternity leave, columnist/contributing writer Joshua Peacock ably led the charge of putting the best events in Savannah out in front of our readers.

As busy as Savannah is (and the growth just continues), I can tell you it's no simple task.

Big kudos to Josh and all our writers and photographers, who never fail to offer up their best each week. I can't express how much I appreciate all of you!

As I settle into the challenges of motherhood (luckily little Eloise is about as easy as a baby gets!), I also plan to expand my role here, which I look at as being a curator for the Savannah experience.

Whether you're a tourist to our fine city or have lived here for decades, Do aims to highlight the obscure, overlooked and downright odd offerings you can find. And you, dear readers, can help! If there's something you think we're missing, I encourage you to give me a shout. I look forward to hearing from you.
