"It's not just the bike path on Price Street. How often do you see any bike riders on any bike path? They are a total waste of taxpayer money."

"I agree with the letter to the editor about muzzling dangerous dogs. All dangerous dogs need to be muzzled when outside walking: pit bulls, dobermans, rottweilers and shepherds."

"We need an old-fashioned '60s-style peace demonstration! I haven't seen one of those in a long time."

"Before the city builds a new civic center, it would be nice to know how much money the old civic center brought in to the city of Savannah and where those funds have been used? In other words, has it paid for itself or is it just another boondoggle?"

"I drive Price Street every day, and have yet to encounter any real traffic. The recent changes have added parking, a safe bicycle route and have turned the road from a speedway back to a neighborhood. All for the price of some street paint."

"Thanks to the men on the pilot boat 'Bill Brown' who came to the aid of a disabled shrimp boat near the shipping channel on Sunday afternoon. I heard the VHF radio conversations and saw them keep the boat away from the breakers and out of the shipping channel between buoys 17 and 15. Only when the Coast Guard arrived did they leave the shrimp boat. Nice job, and I think the public should know it!"
