21 Sep 2017

Do editor Heather Henley joins WSAV's "The Bridge" to preview the best the weekend has to offer.

Watch the full segment here.

Savannah Jazz Festival continues in Forsyth Park from Thursday-Saturday, with Savannah native Victor Wainwright and Augusta native Gordon Wycliffe as headliners. See the full schedule here.

Statts Fest joins the Savannah Bananas once again Saturday to bring bands, food trucks and fun for the family to Grayson Stadium to benefit local man Jason Statts. The proceeds from this event help Statts, a quadriplegic as a result of a shooting and robbery, pay his medical bills all year long. Read more of his story here.

The popular Trinity Sanctuary Concert Series returns Thursday with gypsy jazz from Stephane Wrembel Band, with proceeds benefiting community radio station WRUU. Read about the other upcoming concerts and the new charitable aspect here.

And finally, the Women Rock! Savannah conference is back with a business intensive event Friday night, followed by the one-day conference on Saturday at the Coastal Georgia Center. You'll learn how to break into the city's growing film industry, how to combat procrastination and many more tips for successful entrepreneurs. Learn more here.

Look for Heather's weekend preview on "The Bridge" from 11 a.m.-noon every Wednesday on WSAV-TV or catch the live stream.
