Savannah Stopover Music Festival announced today that the lineup for next year's festival (which takes place March 6-8th) will be unveiled Nov. 21  during a special concert performance by Athens band Futurebirds at The Jinx, 127 W. Congress St.  Tickets for the announcement party are $10 and will be available online and at The Jinx beginning Oct. 24. Futurebirds are one of the top Southern rock bands to come out of the Athens area in the last decade. Their most recent performance in Savannah was at The Trustees Theatre at the 2012 Savannah Music Festival. The band's second album, "Baba Yaga," was released in April 2013 on Fat Possum Records to wide critical acclaim. The band is renowned for their infectious live performances. The festival also announced that Advance Pre-Sale passes for Savannah Stopover 2014 will go on sale on Nov. 1 for three weeks. The Pre-Sale passes, good for all three days of the festival, will be priced at $60 and will be available on Eventbrite. All other festival passes will go on sale the night of Nov. 21. Additional information and links to purchase tickets will be available on in the coming weeks. Savannah Stopover Music Festival, which is heading into its fourth year, has quickly become one of the premier music festivals in the country with a strong focus on the discovery of emerging acts. The event takes place the weekend before the prestigious SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas, and welcomes many of the top up and coming bands en route to Austin.
