Last weekend proved autumn truly is on the horizon here.

With the heat of summer (hopefully) leaving us for a while, it's the ideal time to enjoy Savannah's parks and outdoor spaces.

And what better excuse to get out than for free music?

The Savannah Jazz Festival continues through Saturday with concerts each night in Forsyth Park - none of which will cost you a dime to attend.

Also Saturday, join the Seersucker Ride, set to begin at Grayson Stadium and end at Forsyth. This ride, which includes lunch and croquet, is - you guessed it - free.

Sunday morning, Sustainativity's unique new fundraiser, a "mattress dash," will be in Forsyth, as well.

However you spend your weekend, I hope you're surrounded by loved ones in this beautiful city we're so fortunate to call home.
