04 Oct 2017

Country singer Jon Pardi, one of the music industry’s fastest-rising singer/songwriters, is having an incredible year.

On Oct. 13, he’ll present his “Lucky Tonight Tour” with special guests Midland and Runaway June at Grayson Stadium.

The California native has a No. 1 album in “California Sunrise,” which features the platinum-selling hit “Head Over Boots” and the gold-selling “Dirt On My Boots.”

The album was included on several “Best of the Year” lists, including Rolling Stone, Music Aficionado, the Tennessean and NASH Country Daily.

Pardi’s first album is “Write You a Song.” His additional hits include “Up All Night,” “When I’ve Been Drinkin,’” “What I Can’t Put Down” and “Missin’ You Crazy.”

This is the third headlining tour for Pardi. He was named the Academy of Country Music’s New Male Vocalist of the Year and nominated for Breakthrough Artist and Video of the Year categories at the 2017 CMT Music Awards.

Pardi is signed to Capitol Records Nashville. He has toured with Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and the Zac Brown Band, and was hand-picked by Alan Jackson to join him on his 25th anniversary tour.

The concert is being produced by CMT on Tour, which was created in 2002 to shed light on new artists in the industry.

Originally formed in Dripping Springs, Texas, Midland includes lead vocalist Mark Wystrach, lead guitarist Jess Carson and bass player Cameron Duddy. Their self-titled debut EP features five tracks with songwriting credits for each member and has gotten them featured in Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly and Billboard.

Runaway June features Naomi Cooke on lead vocals and guitar, Hannah Mulholland on vocals and mandolin and Jennifer Wayne on vocals and guitar. The group’s debut single is “Lipstick.”

“To have Midland and Runaway June on the road with me this fall for the ‘Lucky Tonight Tour,’ along with CMT, is awesome,” Pardi says. “When artists that are your friends join you on the road, a tour becomes really special. Everyone is in for a good time.”
