The Forever Family Foundation, a group known to "certify mediums," says their mission is to use science and spirituality to find "answers for the world and to bring comfort to the bereaved."

They are the same group that certified the popular "Long Island Medium," Theresa Caputo, and bringing comfort to the bereaved is a big part of why she does what she does.

Caputo will return to Savannah on June 23 as part of her Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience tour that hits more than 10 cities in June. According to Caputo, these shows are like her popular TLC reality show, only live and in person, where guests can witness her spirit communication firsthand.

The event is at 7:30 p.m. June 23 at the Savannah Civic Center's Johnny Mercer Theatre. Seats are still available, but the box office reports tickets are going fast and if you wanted to be near the stage, you're out of luck. Also, many fans of Caputo are known to follow her from city to city in hopes of getting a message from beyond, so you'll want to plan ahead to get tickets.

It's been almost four years since Caputo made her last appearance in Savannah. Born and raised in Hicksville, N.Y., a town on Long Island, Caputo has been a practicing medium for more than 15 years. She is a best-selling author and best known for her highly rated TV show, "Long Island Medium" which follows Caputo's life as a wife and mom but with one big difference — she can communicate with the dead.

It's her mission to brings these communications from "Spirit" to help individuals find closure by delivering messages from beyond the grave. And she has said in past interviews that she can't tell the future, only communicate with Spirit.

It's a gift she says she can't turn off and she never knows when she will receive a message from a departed loved one. It's these spontaneous readings that she plans to bring to her audiences at her live shows.
