Alee Terror Plantation Haunted House: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 26-31; Alee Haunted House, 100 Eisenberg Drive; $10; ages 12 and older; 912-355-2422. It’s the 12th annual haunted house, where over 800 attendees were too scared to finish last year.

Savannah’s scariest bar crawl will have a $2,000 costume contest, special drinks and more. Opposed to a typical bar crawl with one big group moving at once, this event allows participants to crawl at their own pace with a single mission of surviving the nightmare.

Halloween event: 5 p.m. Oct. 31; Daffin Park; free. Chatham County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Church Body of Christ hosts family-friendly fun with bounce houses, hot dogs, hamburgers, fruit and candy.

Howl-O-Ween: 5 p.m. Oct. 31; Coastal Empire Beer Co., 79 Ross Road. The first 20 pups to arrive in costumes will receive dog treats.

Parkside Paranormal presents "The House of Heads Horror Night": 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31; 49th and Cedar streets; free. Each year Parkside resident Billy Gartside puts on a free haunted house for Savannah residents. The fun begins when it gets dark.
