The cold is coming in, and the distant memory of summer is on the horizon but whatever the weather may be in the Hostess City — one website offered some suggestions on some fun.

NerdWallet compiled a list of the "Things to Do Every Season in Savannah, Georgia" in an effort to alleviate planning whether you are coming into town in the spring, summer, fall or winter. Naturally, many travelers would be making their way here soon as recently Savannah made the cut for best places in North America and must-see travel spots in 2019.

According to the website, summer is a great time to catch an Old Town Trolley tour or go sightseeing at one of the many historic sites such as the Andrew Low House, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, the Kehoe House or River Street. But if the weather gets to be too much, they also recommended the SCAD Museum of Art for those looking for fun indoors. As for the fall or winter, they said one of the best experiences was getting "a glimpse of how locals live" as the tourist season is a bit quieter at this point in the year. Their recommendations ranged from ice skating (the Civic Center always has a great set-up) or visiting one of the winter-themed festivals such as Savannah Holly Days, the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run or Savannah Hockey Classic.

Finally, in the spring, what better time is there to walk around Forsyth Park or take a road-trip down to Tybee Island — or at least that's what they said.
