Saturday wrapped up day nine of the 30th annual Savannah Black Heritage Festival with the Grand Festival Day.
Held at the Savannah Civic Center, the event is an all-day affair that features a mix of entertainment, shopping and history lessons. Local authors signed their books, family friendly performers took to the stage and booths housing representatives from businesses both local and from afar showcased African-American historical and cultural merchandise.
The theme of this year's festival is “Celebrating 30 Years of Black History, Culture and Art.” The festival includes an array of programming for people of all ages and from all walks of life.
The month-long festivities continue today with an art exhibition reception at 3 p.m., hosted at RAW:IMAGE Barbershop and Studio on Montgomery Crossroad.
