Telfair Museums will present an afternoon with lifestyle expert, garden guru and author Martha Stewart at 2:30 p.m. April 25 at the Savannah Theatre, 222 Bull St.
She and Kevin Sharkey, executive vice president and executive director of design for the Martha Stewart Brand, will share expert flower growing, gathering and arranging insights from the newly released "Martha’s Flowers: A Practical Guide to Growing, Gathering, and Enjoying."
The pair will discuss "Martha’s Flowers," her 90th full-length book and her first dedicated solely to this subject. Serving as a handbook for flower gardeners and enthusiasts of all skill levels, "Martha’s Flowers" is full of photographs of displays in Stewart’s home. The book is divided by season, with each section highlighting blooms that flourish during that time of year and applied guidance for growing and creating stunning arrangements.
