Savannah is playing Florida in the new half-hour comedy series from Pop TV.
The first trailer for "Florida Girls" dropped on Wednesday, offering a brief look at the comedy series that is set to debut on July 10. Inspired by series creator Laura Chinn’s real life struggle growing up on the West Coast of Florida, the 10-episode series follows four women who are forced to confront their stagnant lives when their only ambitious friend moves away to follow her dreams. Bound by their friendship, they will attempt to navigate life's curve balls while living below the poverty line.
The series stars Chinn, Laci Mosley, Patty Guggenheim and Melanie Field, and filmed in and around the Savannah area last year.
"Florida Girls" premieres on Pop TV on July 10 at 10 p.m. EST.
