A new project is headed to Savannah, and actors are needed.
Marinella Hume Casting posted a casting notice for a limited, historical series that is filming in Savannah soon that is seeking adults aged 18 through 65 for various roles in the project. The opening casting calls are Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 2 from noon until 5 p.m. at the International F&AM Mason's building on 912 Drayton Street.
According to the casting notice, the roles are for "plantation owners, enslaved people and townsfolk" in the 1800s through the 1850s. The notice mentions actors should have minimal to no tattoos, and encourages men both with and without beards to audition.
Other notes include: actors coming to the audition naturally and without any hair additions and that those attending should "dress back in time" for the open call.
Photos will be taken during the casting call, the notice stated, but actors will be required to supply the following information:
Shirt, neck, sleeve, chest, jacket, inseam and shoe sizes
Bra, waist, dress, skirt, shirt, pant and shoe sizes
