Put on your party shoes and snag a small bit part on this upcoming NBC show.
"Council of Dads" is back in Savannah doing re-shoots before it premieres on NBC and the production is looking for local actors to portray party-goers for a scene. According to the casting call, the scene will include the lead actors at a backyard barbecue with seafood and live music.
The call asks for people of all ethnicities and genders, but asks that they be between the ages of 20 and 40 years old. The pay rate for the background actors will be $100 an hour for 10 hours of work. The scene shoots on Thursday so you must be available that day.
If you would like to be in the scene, register on makescenes.com and use the activation code "Dads" in the "add projects" section so you can upload all of your contact info, clothing sizes and photos. After that, email Councilextras@gmail.com with "PARTY FRIENDS" in the subject line.
The show is based on the memoir by Savannah-native Bruce Feiler and stars Sarah Wayne Callies, Clive Standen, Tom Everett Scott and J. August Richards.
Here is the full show synopsis:
When Scott, a loving father of four, has his entire life’s plan thrown into upheaval by a cancer diagnosis, he calls on a few of his closest allies to step in as back-up dads for every stage of his growing family’s life. Scott assembles a trusted group of role models that includes Anthony, his oldest friend; Larry, his AA sponsor; and Oliver, his surgeon and best friend to his wife, Robin. These men agree to devote themselves to supporting and guiding Scott’s amazing family through all the triumphs and challenges life has to offer – just in case he ever can’t be there to do so himself.
